Montana Medical Cannabis Program at a Glance

Montana's medical cannabis program, established by Initiative 148 (2004) and rebuilt through Initiative 182 (2016), remains one of the most beneficial medical programs in any dual-system state. With nearly 15,000 active patients, Montana's medical program is robust — largely because the tax savings, higher limits, and no potency caps make the $20 card a clear value.
